Software that’s free might be too good to be true. Sometimes you get more than you bargain for. Software often comes bundles with unwanted advertisement programs, and sometimes trojans and malware.
Only install software provided by a trusted manufacturer. Only download software from the manufacturer’s website (Download iTunes from apple.com and not softwaredownload.com)
Laurentian University does not allow machines with Windows XP on to the network.
